Since 1786, Pickity Place’s quaint little red cottage has graced the hills of southern New Hampshire, seemingly untouched by time. Join us as we travel to Mason, NH for a 5-course meal featuring herbs, vegetables, and spices grown locally in the fertile NH soil. We’ll have a chance to visit the gift shop and garden/greenhouses located on site. This enchanting cottage was chosen by Elizabeth Orton Jones as the model for her illusions in Little Red Riding Hood. Today it is a mecca for gardeners, foodies, and anyone looking for inspiration and relaxation. Lunch is at 11:30am.

DATE: Wednesday, September 30, 2026. We will depart the Exeter Community Center parking lot at 10 Hampton Road 10:00am and will be returning to Exeter by 3:00pm.

FEE: The Fee is 65.00 for residents and $75.00 for non-residents, which includes admission to Pickity Place (5- course lunch, gratuity included) and transportation in the EPRD Van.

Registration for Residents begins July 22 and July 29 for non-residents on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations are accepted at the Exeter Recreation Office during our business hours, on-line, mail or by phone. (8) Minimum, (12) maximum.

DEADLINE: The deadline to register is Friday September 25, or once the van is sold out. Note: We need a minimum of 8 people registered for this trip. Maximum is 12.
