Magnificent Crane Estate Tour and Lunch at the
World Famous Clam Box Restaurant
July 22, 2026 at 10AM!
Description: Join the Exeter Parks & Recreation Department for a tour of the Great House at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich. We will enjoy a guided tour of the first two floors of the Castle, then stroll through the highly celebrated gardens. There will be a lot of walking. After the Crane Estate visit, we’ll head to lunch at the Clam Box, also in Ipswich. Lunch will be on your own, and if you like clams or lobster you are in for a treat. If you’d prefer, you can bring your own lunch.
Registration: Registration is open to Exeter residents on Wednesday June 24 and non-residents on June 30, 2026, on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is due upon registration. Registrations are accepted online, over the phone or in person at the Exeter Community Center during business hours via cash, check or credit card.
Dates & Time: Wednesday, July 22, 2026. We will depart the Exeter Community Center parking lot at 10 Hampton Road at 10AM and will be returning to Exeter around 4PM.
Fee: The Fee is $60.00 for residents and $70.00 for non-residents, which Includes guided tour, ride in the in the Recreation Department van.
Deadline: The deadline to register is July 22 or once the van is sold out. Minimum of 8, max of 13 people registered for this trip.

**Please Note: If paying with a credit Card a processing fee of 3% will be charged as a separate transaction on your credit card bill, and will not appear on your final invoice.
REFUNDS: No refunds after tickets/reservations have been purchased unless we can find a replacement for your spot in the program.
*Medical Injury/Illness Policy: If there is a medically documented injury/illness we will prorate a refund after we receive written medical varication from your physician which must be received prior to the trip.
