The Portland Symphony Orchestra, established in 1923, is a fully professional symphony that is recognized as being one of the top orchestras of its size in the country. Join us as we travel north to Portland to see the amazing Portland Symphony Orchestra perform their hugely popular seasonal performance Magic of Christmas. Eckart Preu, Music Director of the orchestra strikes up the biggest band in town for Maine’s finest holiday extravaganza. This is one performance you do not want to miss!
Lunch is included in your registration fee.
DATE: The date selected is Friday, December 11, 2026. We will depart the Exeter Community Center parking lot at 10 Hampton Road at 10:15am and will be returning to Exeter around 6:00pm.
FEE: The fee is $65.00 (residents) or $85.00 (non-residents) per person, that includes lunch, admission to the Magic of Christmas performance (2:00PM show) and transportation in the Recreation Department van.

Registration is open to Exeter residents on Wednesday, September 9 and non-residents on Wednesday, September 16, on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations are accepted at the Exeter Recreation Office during our business hours, on-line, mail or by phone. (16) Minimum, (28) maximum.
DEADLINE: The deadline to register is Friday December 4, 2026 or once the van is sold out.
