It is also the home of world-renowned LL Bean. Freeport is rich in history, much of which is still preserved for your enjoyment. Historical points of interest include The Harrington House – Home of the Historical Society, Pettengill Farm – 19th century salt-water farm, and the Gore House. Shops include Patagonia, J Crew, Talbots, Nike, Carter’s, and local artisanal stores. Lunch is on your own, wherever you choose at your cost.
