Medicare 101 - Ages 50+

This class is for those that are becoming eligible for Medicare due to age or disability, their caregivers and friends or anyone that wants to know how Medicare works. It will be presented by Lisa Hietala, a Medicare Specialist with WellSense Health Plan. Lisa has 40 plus years of helping people learn about Medicare. She was formerly with ServiceLink in NH and is the founder of Senior Insurance Assistance, Inc. in Colorado. A non-profit agency designed to provide advocacy and education for those approaching eligibility for Medicare. She is now with WellSense Health Plans, also a not-for-profit company that provides health plans for all stages of life through Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicaid and the Healthcare Marketplace.
