Edward Kennedy Institute & Commonwealth Museum

Join Exeter Parks & Recreation for a day in Boston! Our first stop will be at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute, which is dedicated to educating the public about the important role of the Senate in our government. The institute’s main attraction is their Senate Chamber, an exact full-scale replica of the United States Senate Chamber and the only replica of the Senate in the world! Our second stop will be next door at the Commonwealth Museum. The Commonwealth Museum brings the story to life with state-of-the-art interactive exhibits. Don’t miss their “treasures gallery”, which holds great historic documents that protect our liberties! Once we are done visiting the museum we will head back to NH, stopping at Red’s Kitchen in Peabody, MA for lunch.
